A Premium Multivitamin Designed Specifically for Kids!
Vitamins and minerals are crucial for a child’s development, growth, and overall health. So ensuring that your child has sufficient amounts of every essential vitamin and mineral is of the utmost importance. However, that’s easier said than done...
Consuming enough vitamins and minerals from diet alone is challenging for anyone, but especially for young children. The last thing that kids want to eat is an abundance of green leafy vegetables, fruit, whole grains, meat, and dairy on a daily basis. They would much rather have fruit snacks, chicken nuggets, and cookies…
Getting your child to eat a nutrient-rich diet every day is nearly impossible. So we’ve developed the Kidz Multivitamin Pectin Gummies to ensure that your child is getting all of the nutrients they need to optimize their health, growth, and development!
Each gummy contains only 1.2 grams of sugar and 7 calories, yet they taste like actual candy. So not only will you feel great about giving them to your kids, but they will also look forward to eating them!
Every bottle of Kidz Multivitamin Pectin Gummies contains 60 servings, so it will last you approximately 2 months. Keep in mind that this supplement is intended to be used for kids who are at least 4 years of age or older.
Kidz Multivitamin Pectin Gummies can be used on their own or stacked with Kidz Daily Immune Gummies for extra immune system support.
As a dietary supplement, parents may give each child, four years old and up, one (1) gummy a day. Instruct the child to chew each gummy thoroughly.
Caution: Do not exceed recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under the age of 4, and individuals with a known medical condition should consult with a physician before using this or any dietary supplement.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Vitamin A (as Retinol Acetate) - 375mcg RAE (42% DV)
Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that’s crucial for eye health, cell growth and differentiation, immune system function, cellular communication, and reproduction.
Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) - 9mg (10% DV)
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that serves as a powerful antioxidant, meaning that it helps protect cells from oxidative damage induced by free radicals. Vitamin C is also required for the production of collagen, the main structural protein found in connective tissue, L-carnitine, a fatty acid transporter, and various neurotransmitters that help relay chemical signals.
Vitamin D (as Cholecalciferol) - 7.5mg (4% DV)
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that’s required for the absorption of calcium and helps maintain appropriate levels of phosphorus. Therefore, vitamin D is extremely important for promoting overall bone health. Vitamin D also plays a role in immune and neuromuscular function, glucose metabolism, and cell growth.
Vitamin E (as DL-Alpha-Tocopherol-Acetate) - 7.5mg (50% DV)
Vitamin E is a collective name for a group of eight different fat-soluble compounds that express potent antioxidant properties. Vitamin E is involved in the immune system, gene expression, and cellular signaling. It also helps defend against free radicals and reactive oxygen species.
Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCL) - 0.35mg (21% DV)
Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin and a generic name for six different vitamers that share similar functions. Vitamin B6 acts as a coenzyme, so it’s incorporated into various bodily functions, such as protein, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism, hemoglobin synthesis, gluconeogenesis, and neurotransmitter production. Vitamin B6 also helps maintain normal levels of homocysteine, which is crucial for optimal cardiovascular health.
Folate - 200mcg DFE (120mcg Folic Acid) (50% DV)
Folate (folic acid) is a water-soluble vitamin that belongs to the B-vitamin family, so it’s sometimes referred to as vitamin B9. Folate is a coenzyme and is primarily involved in the synthesis of nucleic acids, including DNA and RNA. But folate is also used for amino acid metabolism.
Folate is especially important for carrying out the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. Since folate helps facilitate the synthesis of a methyl donor called S-adenosyl-methionine, it may assist in the reduction of homocysteine levels.
Vitamin B12 (as Cyanocobalamin) - 2mcg (82% DV)
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that also contains a mineral called cobalt. Vitamin B12 is required for optimal DNA synthesis, red blood cell production, and neurological function. Vitamin B12 is also a cofactor for an enzyme called methionine synthase, which is responsible for the conversion of homocysteine to methionine.
Biotin - 30mcg (100% DV)
Biotin is another water-soluble vitamin that belongs to the B vitamin family. Similar to the other B vitamins, biotin mainly acts as a cofactor for various enzymes. Therefore, it’s indirectly involved in the metabolism of protein, carbohydrates, and lipids. Biotin is also incorporated in cellular signaling and gene regulation.
Vitamin B5 (as D-Calcium Pantothenate) - 2.5mg (50% DV)
Pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B5, is a water-soluble vitamin that’s most notably used for the formation of coenzyme A (CoA). Coenzyme A is crucial for numerous catabolic and anabolic physiological processes, including fatty acid oxidation. Without a sufficient amount of coenzyme A, the body’s ability to convert food substrates (carbohydrates, fats, and proteins) into energy would be significantly diminished.
Iodine (as Potassium Iodide) - 18.5mcg (12% DV)
Iodine is a trace mineral, which means that the body only needs it in small amounts. Iodine is primarily used to create two important thyroid hormones, thyroxine (T3) and triiodothyronine (T4). These hormones are critical for carrying out various physiological functions, such as protein synthesis and glucose/fatty acid metabolism.
Zinc (as Zinc Citrate) - 1.1mg (10% DV)
Zinc is an essential mineral that contributes to immune function, cell proliferation, protein synthesis, wound healing, cellular metabolism, DNA synthesis, and normal growth/development. Since the body has no way of storing zinc, it’s crucial to intake an adequate amount of zinc daily.
Choline (as Choline Bitartrate) - 5mcg (<1% DV)
Choline bitartrate supplies the body with choline, an essential nutrient that’s responsible for a number of physiological processes. Choline is crucial for optimal brain development/function, liver function, metabolism, and nervous system & muscle function.
In regards to physical activity, choline is most notably used for the production of acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that’s essential for carrying out muscle contractions and nerve impulses. Choline bitartrate is composed of choline bound to two tartaric acids, which improves absorption, bioavailability, and effectiveness.
Inositol - 5mcg
Inositol is not a vitamin or a mineral, however, it’s still very important for brain function and development. Inositol is a carbocyclic sugar that’s heavily involved in cell-to-cell communication, osmoregulation, and maintenance of cellular membranes.
Inositol is highly concentrated in the brain, where it helps relay messages between neurons by participating in the phosphatidylinositol cycle. Therefore, supplementing with inositol may boost cognitive function.
