Last month, we challenged our K-Pow Krew to create their own K-Pow inspired workout. The winner for this giveaway was Julie Stover! Julie calls this workout her “Rock The Tank Mini Challenge”.
This workout is great whether you are a beginner or more advanced. If you're a beginner, you can do this work out with either no weights, water bottles, or soup cans. If you are more advanced, then you can use weighted dumbbells. Please go to Julie’s Instagram (@julie.a.stover) to watch her video of this workout.
Before starting this workout, we recommend doing a quick 10-15 minute warm up!
Complete each move with the amount of reps according to your goal. If you’re looking to tone, use lighter weights and higher reps (~12 reps) per exercise. However, if you’re looking to build muscle then use a heavier weights with lower reps (~8 reps) per exercise.
Once the circuit is completed, rest for 1 minute and then repeat. Complete the whole circuit 2-3 times. When finished with Julie’s workout challenge, do a cool down with light stretching.
Please remember, when doing any exercise, start with being slow & controlled until you build a stronger mind-to-muscle connection. From there, you can gradually increase the speed and or weight being used.
Now let’s get started!
After completing this challenge, it's crucial to refuel with a high-quality and easily digestible protein source, such as K-Pow Vegan Protein, in order to kickstart the recovery process. K-Pow Vegan Protein is great for repairing muscles and promoting the growth of new tissues because it uses two different protein sources that are rich in both branched-chain amino acids and essential amino acid.
Don't let the colder weather slow you down this fall. Grab a friend, play some energetic music, and give this work out a try!
