Vegan Protein Peanut Butter Banana Split Smoothie Recipe

Banana splits are great to share with someone special or a nice way to treat yourself. But if you want a healthy alternative, try our take on a deliciously sweet ice cream dish with our Vegan Protein Peanut Butter Banana Split Smoothie.

1 banana (frozen or fresh)
4 – 5 organic strawberries (frozen or fresh)
⅓ cup of pineapple (frozen or fresh)
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 medjool date or 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional sweetener)
1 scoop of KPOW Nutrition’s Vegan Protein Peanut Butter Banana
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, plain, or vanilla
1 cherry (optional garnish)
2 tablespoons of non-dairy whipped cream (optional garnish)
½ tablespoon of cacao nibs, shaved chocolate, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup (optional garnish)
Place banana, strawberries, pineapple, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, date,KPOW Nutrition’s Vegan Protein (preferred flavor: peanut butter banana), and milk into a blender.
Blend all eight ingredients until smooth. If using all fresh fruits, you may want to add a half cup of ice cubes along with the milk. (Or use it in place of some of your liquids).
Pour into a tall glass, top with optional toppings, and enjoy!
